“Ell No És Tu” was my first production as a department head and one of the most challenging yet instructive experiences. The music video was also Ariadna Vieyra's first, debuting her song on La Marató's album. The shoot lasted two days, during which we filmed in an industrial warehouse in Sabadell and in a theater and a beach in Roses. Coordinating the large team of 24 people to adhere to the strict schedule at each location was challenging, on top of all the paperwork required to travel outside the municipality and beyond curfew, as well as managing image rights and insurance contracts. Everything was new to us, and we learned as we went along. An extensive and cautious pre-production process made the seemingly impossible possible, thanks in part to Gerard Guilló and Valèria N. Saurí (the director), who supported me at all times.

The song in this music video is the last one from the first album of La Model, a band formed by two of my friends (Jordi Tortosa and Max Canals) who play, according to them, "chill music." Being part of this project was very exciting for me because it somehow surprised me that my friends could create music that I genuinely like, and at the same time, I was able to produce a music video to accompany the song and feel proud of it. I often assume that what you see and experience every day will never be extraordinary, but this music video proved me wrong. I suppose this reflection is one of the charms of their songs, which I recommend to anyone reading this.
